Labradoodle Love

Last weekend I got to take photos of Catering to Cats and Dog's newest adoptees...seven labradoodle puppies! The pups are so cute, each one melted my heart! They'll be available for adoption in early March. 

A Walk in the Park

Last weekend I visited my family and managed to fit in a few shots of my favorite puppy trio: Murphy, Turner, and Baby. We all went for a walk, and although the lighting was not ideal (sun right overhead), practice is practice! These are my favorites from our afternoon together.

Meet Ziggy and Otis

My friend Kelly was kind enough to let me spend some time with her sweet pups, Ziggy and Otis. I had so much fun being in their world for a little while! Otis, a pug, has been with Kelly for many years. He's a total love bug and preferred that I pet him instead of photographing. Ziggy is the newest member of the family and is a puppy to the fullest! He has a fabulous beagle howl and loves cruising around the yard sniffing this and that. These are some of my favorite shots...

 

Meet Turner and Baby

My mom's two West Highland Terriers, AKA Westies, are so sweet! Turner was the inspiration for my logo. Baby (the smaller pup) was a neighborhood stray adopted by my mom and grandparents. These two couldn't be more perfect for each other. They're practically twins and are attached at the hip! Photographing Turner and Baby is tricky...they're always on the move. You wouldn't believe the bark that comes out of these two tiny, gentle creatures!

 I got these shots of Turner after his Christmas bath. My Mammol does such a good job grooming those two; their white fur gets dirty very quickly! I love the shot of Turner shaking off.

Turner and Baby love to look out the window and wait for squirrels, dogs, or people to walk by. Then they bark at them to say HELLO!

Meet Murphy

Thanks for reading my first post on Fuzzy Face Photography! I'm so excited about this new adventure...professional dog photography! I've been photographing canine friends for about 6 years and I've decided to take it a step further. Instead of only photographing the "fuzzy faces" I know personally, I want to venture out and meet more dogs! There is nothing quite like a photo that captures the special spark in our favorite "fuzzy face." Through photography, I hope to help dog lovers celebrate the amazing relationship we share with our furry friends.

What better way to start than to feature my favorite "fuzzy face?" Murphy the Boston Terrier came into my life in 2007 (Christmas present from my husband) and he has brightened every day since. He is such a character and keeps us laughing all the time! Be ready to see lots of Murphy on this site...he's a great model!
